What We Believe

Our Vision for Providence Presbyterian Church

As we boldly proclaim the transformative power of God’s word, we will inspire with our past, care for all in our present, and nurture disciples for our future.

Proclaim the power of God's word

Providence Presbyterian Church proclaims the Gospel in work and deed. We, the church, glorify God through worship, enjoy God’s presence through fellowship, celebrate our risen Lord Jesus Christ, and provide refuge and sanctuary for those seeking a renewing of the mind and spirit.

Care for All in Our Present

Providence Presbyterian Church cares for all its members, its community, and the world through Christ-focused service. We reach out to the hurting and to those in need with concrete expressions of God’s love (our time, talent, and resources). We practice a “Ministry of Space ” by sharing our campus with the community. We believe in promoting sustainability practices and being good stewards by caring for our environment protecting it for future generations.

Nurture Disciples of Our Future

Providence Presbyterian Church seeks to equip all individuals (our children, our young adults, our mid-lifers, and our seniors) for mature discipleship in the world through teaching God’s Word, fostering biblical growth, and nurturing God-given talents. We provide opportunities to engage in local and international mission trips, support local charities, partner with other organizations, and share the message of faith with those who have not yet encountered it.
