Music Ministry at PPC
At Providence, we want everyone to be involved in music-making, whether in a choir, as intrumentalists, or simply as a member of our most significant musical ensemble - the congregation!
We believe in sharing the joy and inspiration of music. Music connects us with each other in our church family, with friends and neighbors in our community, and on a deeper level with prayerfulness, joy, delight, inspiration, and contemplation.
We sing hymns and choral anthems and offer instrumental selections in worship, believing that music is a gift God gave that we might pray without words. We share music at special events with each other and with our neighbors, believing that music connects all of us through a common enjoyment of harmony, rhythm, and delight.

We invite everyone to become part of our music ministry. There are various opportunities for anyone in our church family to share freely their musical talents and love of music. New choir voices, handbell ringers, helpers for special and community music events, or contributions by anyone interested in joining together in our music ministry always are welcome.
